The homeowner needed a place to put the microwave and a little
more cabinet space wouldn't have gone astray. Conveniently there
was deep broom closet on the opposite side of the kitchen wall.
Just enough room for some custom cabinetry in the kitchen while
still leaving enough room for hanging brooms and mops on the
laundry side. The cabinet sections were pre-cut then assembled on site. Cabinet doors, door
hardware and the architrave framing the new cabinet were to match
existing. The back panel of the cabinet was 16mm melamine which in
effect became the back wall of a very shallow broom closet
