Here's an example of a job where I did a portion of the work and the owner the rest. The builder had cut corners by not using AC sheet or moisture resistant wallboard nor was there any water proofing in the ensuite shower corner. The current home owner did not know there was a problem until the tiles started coming off the wall.

The owner removed the old shower stall,tiles and water damaged wall board. I replaced rotted tomber as necessary, re-lined the wall with AC sheet, waterproofed, tiled and grouted (not shown). The owner finished off with painting and organising the installation of a new shower enclosure.
